Premier Electric Contractors was founded by Ryan W. Tiemann in 2004 after working as an electrician for over 10 years. Ryan attended Lansing Community College from 1995-1997 and Central Michigan University from 1997-1999, where he studied Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He continued toward his electrical apprenticeship working part-time on weekends, holiday breaks, and summer vacations.
In the summer of 2001 Ryan earned his Electrical Journeyman’s License (1 year even before graduating from the 4-year apprenticeship program at the Associated Builders and Contractors, ABC-CMC). In fall of 2003 Ryan earned his Masters Electrician License, and that is when the dream of owning his own electric company started taking shape.

Handles all day-to-day operations, estimating, scheduling, payroll, billing, and material purchasing. You can still catch Ryan with his toolbelt on, working side-by-side with his employees.
Natalia M. Tiemann, Co-Owner and C.F.O.:

Natalia is Ryan’s wife of 8 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Madison – 8 yrs., Kiley – 4 years, and Kennedy - 8 months. Natalia is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Broad school of business with a Masters degree in Accounting with a specialization in Taxation. Natalia handles all of the quarterly and yearly accounting and taxation duties.
